Goings On in Joseph Oregon

Making an announcement like "only one room left" is a sure guarantee for something to change, which it has.  Due to a last-minute cancellation, we now have two opportunities for couples to spend their Valentine's Day Weekend at our Joseph bed and breakfast.

I'd just posted about the Sawtooth Mountain Room being available.  Due to unforseen circumstances, the Ferguson Ridge Room is now also available.   This room is often selected because it's our least expensive guest room.  Not because the amenities are any less (they definitely aren't), but because this room has a view over the town of Joseph Oregon rather than into the Wallowa Mountains.

Here's a little bit about the Ferguson Ridge Room: 
 

• Queen-sized bed with Simmons Beautyrest mattress, topped with a Sensus latex dense foam topper (very comfortable!), fine linens, down comforter and lots of pillows.
• East-facing views of the town of Joseph Oregon.  This room is perfect for anyone with Seasonal Affective Disorder because it's so bright, even on a cloudy day.  If Madigan were allowed upstairs, she's probably take this room to sleep in the morning sunshine.
• Attached ensuite bathroom, complete with deeper style soaking tub and bidet.  Oversized microfiber bathrobes and slippers.   Plenty of extra towels, a blowdryer, a bottle of bubble bath and candle for enjoying the tub.
• Free Wi-fi access and a combination clock radio/CD player/environmental sound machine.  CDs in the drawer.
• A large Danish dressing mirror we brought home from Copenhagen one Thanksgiving. 
• Warm yellow walls with hand-painted Arts & Crafts period stencils painted by Heather.
• Full bed and breakfast service including sherry upon arrival, chilled water, restaurant menus (and our recommendations), wine cellar selections, concierge services, activity planning, hiking guides, maps and reservations.
